In 1932, the late George Lagorio founded George B. Lagorio Farms, along with Ace Tomato. From the first small family farm of a few acres, the Lagorios now farm or control over 6,000 acres in and around Stockton, California, growing alfalfa, almonds, apples, asparagus, beans, tomatoes, cherries, corn, cucumbers, grapes, nectarines, onions, peppers, plums, sugar beets, walnuts and wheat. George Lagorio was a pioneer in bringing many of these crops to the San Joaquin Valley and Lagorio Farms is proud to continue in the same tradition.
