CalCom Solar CEO Nic Stover discusses the move:

“Visalia has been a great area for CalCom Solar to grow our ground-mounted solar business. We are excited to be able to triple our office space and continue to hire and build out our capabilities for our customers throughout California.”

The 6,500 square foot space will provide enhanced capabilities for our customers, including 3 conference rooms and a best in class Renewables Operations Center (ROC). CalCom Vice President of EPC & Asset Management, Jason Smith, highlighted the four – 50” television monitors mounted for individual or collaborative use by Operations & Maintenance Monitoring: “This allows our team to look at system performance in much more detail and provides greater visibility into how our sites are performing throughout the state.”

As part of the new space and CalCom has also built out a highly-customizable 36-seat training room will allow CalCom Solar to host seminars and training for customers and employees. This will help not only industry training events, but will increase our involvement with key industry partners to be able to apply their field and product knowledge in a classroom setting.

A 25-unit cubicle system provides team members with greater privacy while still maintaining a team work environment by organizing the team effectively into core focus or work groups. In addition to the cubicles and conference rooms. Nine private offices—all with floor to ceiling white boards walls for increased discussion and collaboration.
