CALCOM SOLAR APPOINTS NEW ENERGY AND FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS TO DRIVE CONTINUED EXPANSION

VISALIA, California, July 22, 2015—CalCom Solar, a leading California-based solar provider serving agriculture and water districts, has hired Andrew Hoffman as Senior Director, Strategy and Market Development, and Rob Burkholder as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
“CalCom Solar is thrilled to be bringing Andrew Hoffman and Rob Burkholder on board,” says CalCom Solar CEO Nic Stover. “Their extensive experience in energy markets, demand response and finance will be tremendous assets as we continue to deploy optimized projects and deliver new products and services to our rapidly expanding customer base.”
Previously, Andrew Hoffman was Manager of Demand Response at Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), where he managed a 600 MW portfolio of DR (Demand Response) programs and data products delivering value for PG&E customers and the grid. He worked on developing the Home Area Network platform which delivers real-time energy usage visibility to PG&E customers. He previously worked at EnerNOC as a Program Operations Manager. Mr. Hoffman earned his Masters of Business Administration at Hass School of Business, UC Berkeley, and his BA at Dartmouth College.
Earlier in his career, Rob Burkholder was Commercial Finance Manager at GE and at SPG Solar. In his previous role, he focused on pricing strategy and internal process controls, structuring of the company’s working capital position during aggressive expansion, and implementing performance based incentive plans for vendors and employees. He began his career as a financial analyst at GE Energy. Burkholder earned his Bachelor of Arts at Franklin & Marshall College.
