CalCom Energy announced that Chief Executive Officer, Fred Ketcho, has joined the Board of Directors of this solar developer, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), and energy services company.

Mr. Ketcho said, “It’s an honor to become a member of the Board of Directors of CalCom. I look forward to serving my colleagues in this additional capacity, working with the other Directors to oversee not only operating performance but also longer-range strategy and the development of our people.”

Mr. Ketcho has over 30 years of business experience in the construction, building systems, and technology industries, with a track record of consistently delivering improved results. He has a strong national and international reputation for excellence in strategic thinking, superior execution, and team building, with an intense focus on delivering a superior customer experience.

His career includes hands-on and leadership positions in sales, operations, and executive management, with a strong interest in energy efficiency and renewable building technologies, at world-renowned companies including Hughes Aircraft and Honeywell. His entrepreneurial experience includes successful roles as the President or Chief Executive Officer at high-performing companies including Datacard Group, VITA and Allied Modular Building Systems.

Mr. Ketcho earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering at Lehigh University, and an M.S. in Manufacturing Engineering at UCLA.
