Anderson Orchards, Phase 1

Glenn, CA
Anderson Orchards, a prominent grower on the Westside of the San Joaquin Valley, turned to solar to a power a deep-well pump used to irrigate cotton, wheat and pistachio trees. Using our advanced Ag energy forecasting capability, CalCom Solar was able to precisely forecast energy requirements and right-size Anderson Orchards’ solar photovoltaic (PV) cell system. In fact, it was one of the first Ag solar power systems to take advantage of the Net Energy Metering Aggregation (NEMA) opportunity, delivering greater flexibility and higher ROI.

Benefits:

Solar power system produces enough energy equivalent to

0 M
pounds of coal burned over 25-year warranted lifespan
0 M
gallons of gasoline consumed over 25-year warranted lifespan
